About the Recipe

This IBD/AID approved recipe follows the protocol and is patient approved as delicious!!

Ingredients

  • 4 cup water

  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks

  • .5 cup rolled oat

  • 4 cup water , or use milk (cow, almond, oat, etc)

  • 2 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup or Raw Local Honey

Preparation

  1. Combine water and cinnamon sticks in pot and bring to boil.

  2. Boil on low 10 minutes

  3. In separate pan boil 4 cups water. Turn off heat add 2 cups rolled oats and let sit for 10 minutes.

  4. Blend oats and water mixture until smooth.

  5. Add cinnamon water and cinnamon sticks to oat mixture.

  6. Add maple syrup or honey.

  7. Cook on low for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  8. Remove cinnamon sticks and serve warm.
