Ingredients
3 egg whites
2 cloves garlic, grated
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro
2 cups almond flour
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Grease a baking tray with canola oil.
In a medium-size bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, mix together the garlic, onion, salt, pepper, baking powder, fresh cilantro, and almond flour. Slowly fold in the egg whites. The dough should be moist, but not sticky.
Form ½ inch dough balls and roll them between your palms to make long strands (sticks).
Gently place the rolled sticks on the baking tray well-spaced apart. Place in the oven, and bake until the sticks turn golden brown, 20 to 30 minutes.
